The Role of Mentors in Your Life: Mentors in my life shaped who and where I am. Growing up I was able to see first hand where taking chances and working hard would take you. My mother worked everyday went to school at night and graduated the same year I graduated from high school with her Bachelors in Education. Nothing was ever easy for her, but it never slowed her down.
